A holistic approach to health

“Promoting a healthier Redcliffe-Caboolture-Kilcoy community” by supporting:
Research, Education, Community Partnerships, Resources

Partnering with community

Redcliffe has a strong sense of community – it’s one of the many things we love about living here. We’re more than delighted that this wonderful vision has become a reality! For the first time, we in Redcliffe have our very own hospital foundation; delivering benefits directly back into our local community.

Our vision is to enhance the health and well being of our community through research, education, support, community partnerships and shared resources.

Our focus is on preventative health as well as the treatment of disease, both within the hospital and in the broader community.

It has been a lot of hard work to date and there’s plenty more to do, but the ultimate reward will be an established and successful foundation delivering on its objectives to enhance the health, wellbeing and quality of life of those who reside here.

Its success very much depends on the people of Redcliffe, and we have absolutely no doubt about the big heart and justifiable pride our community has in itself.

We encourage all in the development, support and implementation of our many projects – whether that involves the raising of funds, the promotion of events, the support of ventures, the driving of a bus or the cleaning of a computer for us to sell to raise funds. All participation is a valuable contribution.

We look forward to a long and happy association with you all.

Step by Step. Walk for Awarness

WELCOME HOME RON

In keeping with his personal slogan, 'Challenge. Achievement. Reward.' Redcliffe Hospital Foundation Board Director, Ron Jelich set himself a challenge to walk from Cairns to Redcliffe to raise $2 Million. Far beyond stretching out of his personal comfort zone and improving his own health and wellbeing, Ron's plan was to raise awareness and funds for health research and preventative health education and for the next major project of the Foundation – a Research, Education & Training Centre. After walking for 56 consecutive days, Ron completed his gruelling journey on Sunday, September 9, 2007.
