Research, Education and Training Centre
The Redcliffe Hospital Foundation is currently raising money to construct a Research, Education and Training Centre within the Redcliffe Hospital precinct. When complete, the project will provide state of the art research facilities as well as post-degree training and further education for health professionals.
It is envisaged that the new centre will play a vital role in attracting and retaining high quality doctors, nurses and other health professionals to live and work within the local community. It will be named in honour of Ron Jelich, in recognition of his fundraising walk from Cairns to Redcliffe which raised the initial $1 million towards the project.
